17 democratic #5: Independence Day

The Declaration of Independence was signed on July 4th 1776, forming America and making that date the nation’s birthday. July 4th is now Independence Day and is celebrated all over America and in some of it territories. People celebrate the birth of the America, the first democratic country in the world. July 4th is a very fun time of the year, people barbeque, picnic, light fireworks, blow things up, hang out with family, and drink beer (everything America stands for). Levis and jeans are very deeply ingrained in American culture and I don’t think it’s any coincidence Levis colors are red, white, and blue. Both the summer and holidays are popular times for people to shop. I think Levis should hold an event with fireworks and barbequing on the holiday and give away and sell things there. It would further stretch the idea to people that Levis is a very American thing and would bring them new customers, making it worth the investment to sponsor something like that.

America, fuck yeah!
